Your new role

Working closely with an immediate team of 4 and alongside the much larger Group finance function, you will be joining a team who already collaborate well and pride themselves on the excellent training and onboarding provided to new team members. Much of the role is likely to be new to you and that's fine. They want someone who is keen to learn and build their experience. With training and initially shadowing a team member you will be involved in;

• Month end close
• Key account reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Handling accounts queries
• Assisting with audit points/actions
• Completing and submitting forms

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally studying towards your AAT qualification or possibly just embarking on your CIMA studies, this is an ideal career step for someone who has experience of working in a finance department, probably undertaking transactional processing of the key ledgers, but who is looking to move into a Management Accounting role.

You will be someone who is committed to completing their AAT qualification, enjoys learning and is keen to further their accounting career. With sound on-site training, this role provides the ideal "stepping stone" into Management Accounts that can otherwise be tricky to make, without prior management accounts experience.
