Your new role
This is a newly created role due to business growth. Working in a finance team of eight, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Compile financial summaries for special cinema events, spanning global music icons and renowned cultural institutions.
- Coordinate cross-border invoicing with the international finance team, ensuring smooth reporting from regional partners.
- Work alongside the Credit Controller to align accounts and resolve discrepancies efficiently, including reconciliation and matching.
- Oversee monthly reporting and tax filings for Swiss subsidiary company, keeping compliance on track.
- Support annual account preparation for the Swiss subsidiary, contributing to accurate year-end results.
- Maintain monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts across group companies.
- Take on varied finance projects as directed by senior leadership, helping drive the success of the business' global operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Recent, relevant experience working in a similar Assistant Management Accountant or Senior Accounts Assistant role
- Experience in Billing
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of financial reporting and VAT/tax compliance
- Experience in reconciliations, budgeting and audits
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills
- Business Central (Microsoft Dynamics 365) experience is advantageous (not essential)
