Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will take on a diverse array of responsibilities, including:
Analysing and reporting daily sales and margin figures, identifying any unusual trends, anomalies, or variances from budget expectations.
Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Collaborating with the team to reconcile key balance sheet accounts, including stock accounting, inter-company balances, supplier payments, customer receipts, and expenses.
Ensuring payroll reports are meticulously completed, submitted to external payroll support punctually, and thoroughly checked for accuracy prior to processing payments.
Supporting the preparation of VAT returns in compliance with both HMRC and Revenue Ireland regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates should be part-qualified accountants with demonstrated experience within industry. Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organisational abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail. Additionally, a highly analytical mindset is essential.
