Market leaders in their field, I am delighted to be working with this client to support them in the appointment of an Assistant Accountant. With a focus on quality and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service, they are looking to bring their finance-function in-house with the appointment of a Trainee/Assistant Accountant.

Your new role
Working closely with the MD, you will initially take responsibility for all the transactional elements of a busy accounting role, whilst also assisting the MD with the preparation of the management accounts. Key duties will include:

• Raising Sales ledger invoices
• Credit Control
• Posting & allocating cash received
• Processing supplier invoices
• PO query resolution
• Bank reconciliations
• Assist with key ledger reconciliations at month end
• Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts

What you'll need to succeed
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has completed Level 2/3 of their AAT, whilst working within an accounting environment. It's a chance to continue to develop your finance career whilst also gaining invaluable hands-on experience.
