Assistant Company Secretary

Your opportunity
Join a dual-listed FTSE company looking to hire an Assistant Company Secretary. In this role, you will support the Company Secretary in delivering a high-quality governance and company secretarial service across the group. The role offers broad exposure to senior management and the Board, and covers a wide range of responsibilities including board support, corporate governance, share registration, and subsidiary management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Board & Committee Support:
    Prepare agendas and papers, manage director inductions, maintain statutory registers, and act as secretary for designated committees and subsidiaries.

  • Corporate Governance:
    Ensures compliance with UK and other jurisdictional listing obligations, supports the annual reporting cycle and AGM, and advises on governance developments.

  • Share Registration:
    Maintains accurate records of share capital and liaises with registrars on shareholder matters.

  • Subsidiary Management:
    Oversees statutory compliance and record-keeping for UK and international entities.

  • Projects & Systems:
    Supports corporate transactions, manages insider list software, and maintains records in entity management systems.
