Your new company

A schools trust in the Tyne and Wear region which is experiencing growth and looking to expand their finance team


Your new role

Providing support to the head of Finance, the role takes ownership of financial operations and management accounts preparation. You will be managing journals, adjustments and overseeing ledgers. There are two other team members supporting with invoicing and a School Business Manager who oversees their work. This is a newly created role, and will be varied and busy, reporting directly to the finance leadership team.


What you'll need to succeed

As an experienced and accomplished Assistant Accountant, you will ideally have your AAT level 4 qualification, or be studying for professional exams. Experience working on management accounts is essential, as well as demonstrable ability in all aspects of financial operations. Ideally, you will be immediately available to start in the role on a temporary basis. Please note this role will be subject to checks, including a DBS.
