Your New Role
As a Permanent Assistant Accountant, you’ll work within and support the wider finance team, delivering financial results. Key responsibilities include:
✅ Month-end reporting: sales, margins, balance sheets, and journals
✅ Preparing month end closure of the ledgers and reconciliation
✅ Liaising with stakeholders and collaborating with Managers and Directors
✅ Driving process improvements and adding commercial value across the business

What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Part-qualified studier (AAT Level 4 or ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in transactional finance procedures and exposure to management accounts and reporting
- Background in a product-based industry
- Strong IT skills, especially Excel
- Positive, proactive, and team-oriented personality
- Bonus: experience in process improvement or mentoring
