We are pleased to represent a respected and long-standing client located in County Antrim. They are seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their established finance team. This market-leading company boasts an exceptional corporate culture and maintains low staff turnover.

Your new role

As a member of the existing finance team, your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with monthly management accounts
  • Performing P&L reconciliations
  • Handling bank reconciliations
  • Conducting quarterly balance sheet account reconciliations
  • Managing VAT returns
  • Addressing HMRC enquiries

What you'll need to succeed

To be eligible for this position, candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in a finance department. Strong communication skills, both independently and as part of a team, are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is required. Additionally, attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines are important qualities.
