I am excited to represent a prominent organisation with a global footprint, headquartered in County Antrim, as they seek to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their dedicated team. This family-run business has proudly operated for over 60 years and employs more than 1,000 staff across multiple locations throughout the UK.
Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for a diverse range of duties, including:
Preparing Key Performance Indicators to aid in the effective management of the Division.
Assisting with the month-end close and the preparation of monthly Management Accounts.
Reconciling intercompany transactions within the Group.
Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Compiling information to facilitate the financial year-end process for the Division.
Supporting the credit control process.
Assisting in the preparation of the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, candidates should be part-qualified accountants with demonstrated experience within industry. Applicants must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong time management and organisational abilities, as well as a keen attention to detail. Additionally, a highly analytical mindset is essential.
