Your new role

• Assist with preparation of monthly management accounts
• Support month‑end processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank accounts
• Maintain purchase and sales ledger entries and ensure accurate coding
• Process supplier invoices and support payment runs
• Assist with credit control and customer account reconciliations when required
• Prepare weekly cashflow updates and assist with variance analysis
• Provide financial support to operational teams across the dealership network
• Maintain accurate financial records in line with company policies
• Support year‑end audit preparation and respond to auditor queries
• Assist with ad‑hoc reporting and finance projects

What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in an accounts or finance support role
• Strong Excel skills and accuracy in handling financial data
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines in a busy environment
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn
• Studying towards AAT or another accounting qualification (desirable, not essential)
