• Assisting with month-end and year-end close: journals, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
• Preparing and posting general ledger entries
• Completing accounts to TB level
• Bank reconciliations and cashbook maintenance
• Supporting the production of management accounts
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Assisting with VAT returns and other statutory reporting
• Supporting internal and external audits
• Raising and processing invoices (sales and purchase ledger)
• Credit control and cash allocation support

• Confident with Excel and accounting systems (e.g., Sage, Xero, SAP)
• Completing accounts to TB level
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• A team player with excellent communication skills
• Able to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities
