You will be working for a well-established manufacturing company, a global leader in their industry, operating across 41 countries. They are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a full-time position, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.

Your new role

Your new role will be an Assistant Accountant who will work alongside the Finance Controller to ensure all elements of the end-to-end finance function are completed in line with company guidelines. As part of your role, you will be required to do duties and responsibilities as per below:

• Calculation of various operational KPI’s and month-end preparation of financial KPI’s
• Stock check results analysis and ad-hoc analysis
• Logistics invoice checking and sign off
• Submitting National Statistics data
• Financial accounting tasks – monthly reporting
• Compliance checks

What you'll need to succeed

In this role as an Assistant Accountant for this global manufacturing company, you will need to have a finance qualification (AAT). Alternatively, have relevant accounts experience where you can demonstrate the value you have added to the finance function within your role.

This role will require you to have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work within a small team or autonomously. You will thrive working in a busy, fast-paced finance department and pride yourself on providing first-class service at all times. This role will require you to work with a bespoke financial system and Microsoft Excel.
