Assistant Accountant Required For A Global Management Consultancy Based In Central London!

This established management consultancy offers a diverse portfolio of services and is recognised for its customer-first approach. The Finance team are a sociable, engaging team supporting a customer-centric and cutting-edge multi-entity Business Function. The team are looking for an Assistant Accountant to support their Finance Director in a broad and busy role.

Your new role

As the Assistant Accountant, you will play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the finance function, supporting multiple Business Heads in providing an overview of each area's performance. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients.
  • Assist the Senior Accountants in the preparation of monthly / yearly management and statutory accounts.
  • Communicates with confidence and in a professional manner with key stakeholders while being flexible in their working practices.
  • Assist with any other related accounting work.
  • Assist with any other general tasks on an ad hoc basis.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Actively studying towards the AAT accounting qualification
  • Ability to work effectively in a team to complete assigned tasks.
  • Listen to and understand instructions given and execute them well while retaining the guidance given.
