Your new role
As an Art Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the creative journey of students across various age groups. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and artistic expression. You will introduce students to a wide range of techniques and mediums, from traditional drawing and painting to modern digital art. Beyond teaching, you will be involved in assessing progress, providing constructive feedback, and supporting students in developing confidence in their abilities. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to extracurricular activities and school projects that showcase student creativity.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- A strong background in Art and Design, with the ability to teach across different levels and adapt to diverse learning needs.
- A genuine passion for creativity and a desire to inspire young minds.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. Experience in using technology to enhance art lessons or leading exciting creative projects will be a strong advantage.
