Art Teacher – Secondary Schools
Locations: Warwickshire & Coventry - Contract Type: Full-Time (Temporary with Potential for Permanent) - Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
About the Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join secondary schools across Warwickshire and Coventry. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented educator to inspire creativity and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
The position is full-time, with both temporary and potential permanent opportunities available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and creative art lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students of varying abilities to develop their artistic skills and confidence
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental development
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
- Proven UK teaching experience within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Art and Design
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students
