Hays Education are supporting a well-established and well regarded secondary school in Liverpool to appoint a part time Art teacher to cover a period of maternity leave, starting January 2026. The school are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our vibrant and creative department. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who can hit the ground running and inspire our students to achieve their full artistic potential.

Your new role

Your new role requires you to;

• Deliver engaging and high-quality Art lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Plan and implement creative schemes of work that foster imagination and skill development.
• Support students in achieving excellent outcomes in Art and Design.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and the Art department.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be;

• A qualified teacher with experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to motivate and challenge students.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards and promoting a love of Art.
• Someone adaptable, proactive, and ready to make an immediate impact.
