An outstanding secondary school in Preston is seeking a passionate Art & Design Teacher to join their creative faculty on a long‑term temporary basis from May 2026. • Strong subject knowledge across a range of artistic disciplines.
  • Someone who can deliver engaging, imaginative lessons that bring creativity to life.

  • A professional who is committed, reliable, and confident working in a high‑performing environment.

What the role offers

  • A long‑term temporary contract for 9 to 12 months, ideal for stability and continuity.
  • Pay to scale from day one, reflecting your experience and teaching level.
  • The chance to work in an Ofsted Outstanding school with excellent facilities and a supportive leadership team.
  • Full access to departmental resources and ongoing support from Hays Education throughout your placement.
