Area Sales Manager | Nelson | £50,000-£60,000 DOE + Bonus

Role Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Area Sales Manager, based in Nelson. This role covers the North East UK portfolio, managing and developing existing customer accounts while focusing on new business opportunities generated internally through various marketing sources. You will work with a professional team selling a long-established range of shrink-wrapping machinery and associated equipment to buoyant market sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for an existing and new customer portfolio
  • Develop effective geographical call plans
  • Proactively grow customer portfolio and achieve sales targets
  • Forecast sales and report KPIs
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, exhibitions, and seminars
  • Represent the company professionally at all times

Candidate Requirements
  • Previous technical sales experience (ideally machinery or industrial equipment)
  • Strong B2B sales and account management skills
  • Ability to negotiate at all levels and plan ahead
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Valid UK driving licence
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently and as part of a team

Salary & Benefits
  • Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
