Architectural Technologist Kenilworth

Your New Company
You will be joining a well‑established architectural practice with a long-standing reputation for delivering innovative, client‑focused design solutions across the UK and internationally. The team is small, collaborative, and committed to producing high‑quality work ranging from individual spaces to complex public buildings.
With a strong ethos built on listening, relationship‑building and creative problem‑solving, the practice has cultivated a high volume of repeat business and recommendations. Continued growth has recently led to expansion into the North Cotswolds region.

Your New Role
As an Architectural Technologist, you will work across a broad range of projects from concept through to completion (RIBA Stages 2–7). Your responsibilities will include:
  • Working collaboratively within the design team or independently across multiple live projects
  • Preparing planning documents
  • Producing detailed technical drawings and specifications
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants and stakeholders
  • Conducting site inspections, including those requiring physical access such as scaffolding
  • Attending meetings both on-site and in the office

What You’ll Need to Succeed
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
  • BSc in Architectural Technology or HNC/HND in Architecture / Building Construction
  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in practice post-graduation
  • Working towards ACIAT or MCIAT
  • Experience across both Residential and Commercial sectors
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction methods and materials
  • Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Understanding of the UK planning system
  • Proven site inspection experience

Software Competency:
  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • MS Office Suite

Key Skills:
  • Organised and detail‑driven
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants and contractors
  • Reliable, dependable and able to work independently
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:
  • Experience with Lumion or other 3D rendering software
  • Within a 40‑minute commute of Kenilworth
