Experienced part ii or technician required for design-led practice covering bespoke residential projects.

Your new company

Hays Architecture are partnering with a North Essex, design‑led practice specialising in high‑quality private residential work. They are seeking an Architectural Technician or Part II Architect who is technically strong, confident in a studio setting, and eager to grow within a collaborative, engaged team.

This role suits someone who takes responsibility, communicates clearly, and contributes positively to both projects and studio culture. A professional attitude, strong people skills, and a desire to develop with practice are essential. This is not a role for someone who prefers to work in isolation—collaboration is central to how the studio operates.

Your new role

Key Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Supporting projects across full RIBA stages
Preparing planning applications, technical drawings and coordinated project info.
Contributing to design development, material research and construction information
Attending site visits, client liaison, and project meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

Architectural Technologist or Part II Architect background.
UK-based experience within an architectural practice.
Working knowledge of UK planning processes and building regulations.
Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with SketchUp and Adobe Suite

What you'll get in return

Competitive salary up to £45,000
Generous benefits package includes private healthcare and a good annual leave allowance.
A social office environment with regular social events and a culture of personal progression.
