Residential architecture architectural technician

Your New Role
An established housebuilder in the East Midlands is seeking an Assistant Architectural Technician to join their growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the design and delivery of high-quality residential developments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning and building warrant process, liaising with local authorities.
  • Provide detailed drawings and technical information to support procurement and construction activities.
  • Produce CAD drawings for use by site teams and sales departments.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with design standards and regulations.

What You'll Need to Succeed
  • Experience in architectural design, ideally within the residential sector.
  • A relevant qualification such as a CIOB Building Design certificate or HNC/HND in a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and a solid understanding of the construction process.
  • Strong knowledge of technical detailing in residential design.
