*** Architectural Technologist - Well Established Practice - Dungannon - £Competitive ***

Your new company

Hays Architecture & Design NI are currently working with a well-established County Tyrone Practice, in their search for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their Dungannon studio. Having built an enviable reputation over the past 25+ years through specialist delivery within the retail & residential sectors, they've built a strong repeat client base as well as a structured team of designers, and as an organisation pride themselves on the overall focus of achieving aspirations. With a seat arising in their team rare, and as the result of organic growth, this should appeal to Architectural Technologists who are perhaps travelling further afield for their current position, are looking for stability to move closer to home, or indeed want to take a progressive step in their career into a respected company in a senior position.

Your new role

You'll work on a variety of projects throughout Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, working with wider design team to ensure designs are delivered on time and to specification. You'll produce accurate & well-presented drawings, creating details from general arrangement plans. Taking ownership of projects within your remit, you'll coordinate resulting works at site stage and in general take schemes from concept to completion.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be a qualified Architectural Technologist with a relevant educational background, and have demonstrable experience of working in a similar function within practice, on projects through all RIBA stages. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, with wider skills in Revit, 2D / 3D draughting and visualisation software desirable. You should have a deep understanding of CAD Standards, Document control, Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health & Safety standards. Ideally, the practice are looking for someone with 4+ years experience due to the level of workload at hand, and the specific gap in team - they have a settled working pattern of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.15pm.

What you'll get in return

A full time position with an established local practice in County Tyrone. In addition to a £competitive salary (dependant on experience) you'll be placed on a workplace pension scheme, with health insurance benefits too. With on-site parking, an attractive office space & compelling projects - this is a rounded opportunity for an Architectural Technologist to join a leading name in County Tyrone's Architectural sector.
