Your new role
As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in leading architectural design and delivery across a range of modular building projects. Based at the Coventry head office, you will supervise and mentor the architectural team, manage projects from concept to completion, and contribute to the development of sustainable, high-quality design solutions.
As a Senior Architect, you will play a key role in leading architectural design and delivery across a range of modular building projects. Based at the Coventry head office, you will supervise and mentor the architectural team, manage projects from concept to completion, and contribute to the development of sustainable, high-quality design solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring the architectural team
- Managing the design process in line with the RIBA Plan of Work
- Preparing compliant designs aligned with UK Construction Law and British Standards
- Advising on material specification with sustainability and durability in mind
- Authoring specifications and sourcing technical information
- Supporting statutory submissions including Planning and Building Regulations
- Coordinating pre-construction information and design risk management
- Assisting with budget design and value engineering
- Participating in project reviews and cross-team coordination
- Ensuring document control compliance and quality assurance
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:

- ARB registration or CIAT chartership with 10+ years post-chartered UK experience
- Strong cross-sector experience, ideally in education (DFE framework), with commercial or leisure projects as a plus
- Proficiency in BIM Level 2 workflows and environments
- Proven leadership in managing multiple complex projects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with design software including Lumion, Photoshop, InDesign, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
- Understanding of NBS/Uniclass Specification software
- Knowledge of Passivhaus principles and timber frame construction (advantageous)
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
