Your new role
As an Application Architect, you will define and lead the architecture vision for the bank’s digital ecosystem. You’ll design innovative end‑to‑end solutions, create secure and resilient systems, and ensure technology choices align with strategic business goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, resilient, cloud‑ready digital solutions.
- Shape and influence the long‑term technology roadmap for your domain.
- Ensure compliance with architecture, security, and governance frameworks.
- Translate business requirements into robust technical designs.
- Champion modern technologies and mentor less experienced architects and engineers.
- Extensive hands‑on experience designing modern distributed systems (e.g., microservices, REST APIs, cloud‑native).
- Deep knowledge of major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong software engineering background with experience in languages like Java or Python and agile delivery methods.
- Solid understanding of banking or financial services, ideally within payments, cards, loans, or digital channels.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex architectural concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.
- A pragmatic, innovative mindset with strong problem‑solving capabilities.
