Are you an experienced ASB professional looking for your next challenge? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected social housing organisation for a skilled Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

You’ll play a key role in improving community safety and sustaining tenancies by managing and resolving cases of anti-social behaviour, hate crime, safeguarding concerns, and tenancy breaches. This is a hybrid role requiring travel across Wigan, Leigh, and Preston.

Key responsibilities:

• Triaging, investigating, and resolving ASB, hate crime, safeguarding, and tenancy breach cases.
• Gathering evidence, taking witness statements, and preparing pre-court paperwork including injunctions and possession proceedings.
• Representing the organisation in court, liaising with Legal Services and solicitors, and supporting witnesses throughout the process.
• Working in partnership with housing associations, Police, and other stakeholders, attending multi-agency meetings and conferences.
• Responding to complaints and queries from MPs, customers, and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in ASB/tenancy enforcement within social housing.
• Strong understanding of housing legislation, legal processes, and best practice.
• Experience drafting legal documents and representing cases in court.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently.
• Full UK driving licence, valid business insurance, and access to your own vehicle.
