Anti-Social Behaviour Officer (Social Housing) - 3 month temp

We’re seeking a confident and experienced professional with a strong background in managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement. You’ll bring a solid understanding of housing legislation, legal remedies, and effective case management practices to a role that’s critical in protecting communities and upholding tenancy standards.

In this role, you’ll take ownership of complex and persistent ASB cases, working closely with neighbourhood teams and external partners to deliver timely interventions. You’ll be responsible for gathering evidence, preparing legal documentation, and supporting witnesses through the enforcement process—all while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal policies and data protection standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on serious and persistent ASB and tenancy breach cases, particularly those requiring legal enforcement

  • Support Neighbourhood Officers with case advice, evidence gathering, and escalation procedures

  • Prepare and serve legal documents including Notices, and draft witness statements for court proceedings

  • Attend and give evidence in court, ensuring witnesses are fully supported throughout the legal process

  • Liaise with internal teams and external partners to deliver consistent tenancy compliance and community safety

  • Identify and secure additional sources of evidence to strengthen case outcomes

  • Make referrals to support agencies and mediation services where appropriate

  • Maintain accurate and timely records on the ASB case management system

  • Represent the organisation at multi-agency meetings and contribute to partnership working

  • Engage with local communities to promote understanding of the organisation’s approach to ASB and tenancy enforcement

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in managing anti-social behaviour and tenancy enforcement cases, within a housing or community safety setting

  • Strong working knowledge of relevant housing legislation, legal remedies, and enforcement procedures

  • Confidence in preparing legal documentation, serving notices, and presenting evidence in court

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support vulnerable individuals and liaise effectively with partners

  • Ability to assess complex situations, gather and evaluate evidence, and make sound decisions under pressure

  • Experience using case management systems and maintaining accurate, compliant records

What you'll get in return

  • Weekly pay

  • Competitive hourly rates

  • Hybrid working

  • Option to be paid PAYE or Umbrella

  • Mileage reimbursement
