Your new role
As an Analytical Scientist, you will generate accurate and reliable data in line with internal SOPs and agreed project timelines. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing routine biochemical and physical analyses across various development projects.
  • Recording data contemporaneously to ensure full traceability and integrity.
  • Conducting peer review of analytical records to maintain data quality.
  • Preparing clear, concise analytical protocols and technical reports.
  • Supporting method optimisation and verification activities.
  • Presenting compiled data in project, team, and company meetings.
  • Maintaining laboratory, quality, and H&S standards.
  • You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to help achieve both project and organisational objectives.

What you'll need to succeed

  • BSc in a relevant biological science discipline.
  • 2–3 years’ experience in a laboratory‑based analytical position.
  • Hands‑on experience with ELISA and HPLC techniques. UV‑Vis, Karl Fischer, and DLS are also desirable.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to clearly communicate observations.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills at all organisational levels.
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented approach.
  • Experience in an analytical QC environment would be beneficial.
