Your new role

As an Assembly, Integration & Test (AIT) Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the hands-on build, integration, and testing of precision aerospace hardware. Working with flight-standard components and complex test rigs, you’ll play a key role in ensuring systems meet rigorous performance and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Mechanical assembly and integration of spacecraft and satellite components
  • Execution of environmental and functional testing procedures
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings and controlled documentation
  • Collaboration with design, quality, and project teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintenance of test rigs and tooling to ensure operational readiness

What you'll need to succeed

You’ll bring a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with proven experience in precision assembly and testing. Familiarity with GD&T, cleanroom protocols, and aerospace-grade documentation is essential.
Candidate profile:
  • HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience in AIT or similar high-integrity environments
  • Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Comfortable working to tight tolerances and quality standards
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
