Position: After School Teaching Assistant
Location: Wirral
Working Pattern: Part‑Time (Mon–Fri, After-School Hours)
Contract: Ongoing, Term‑Time Only

Your New Role
As an After-School Club Teaching Assistant, you will support children during wraparound sessions, ensuring a safe, fun, and engaging environment. Your responsibilities may include:
  • Supervising pupils aged 4–11
  • Supporting with homework, activities, and play
  • Leading or assisting with crafts, games, and sports
  • Providing general behaviour support
  • Ensuring safeguarding and welfare procedures are followed
This role is ideal for candidates looking for part-time, consistent work each afternoon, with opportunities to pick up additional school hours if desired.

What You’ll Need to Succeed
You’ll need to be confident, nurturing, and proactive, with experience working with children in a school, childcare, club, or youth setting. Additional requirements include:
  • A valid and enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A positive, team-focused attitude
  • Reliability and consistency Monday to Friday
