School Administrator for SEND Department in Thanet

Are you an organised, friendly, Office Support professional ready to make a difference in a school environment? Are you looking for flexible work to suit your lifestyle? Hays are recruiting for a Temporary Administrator role to join an SEND department at a lovely Primary school in Thanet, Kent.
This lovely school have advised that administration experience and confidence on the phone, are the most required traits for this role. Previous experience in a school is not essential.
Your new role
- Option to work 3, 4 or 5 days a week from 8.00–15.30 or 8.30–16.00
- Starting ASAP until Christmas, possibly longer
- Typing up SEND report, meeting notes, updating records and using Mircosoft programmes
- Handling pupil records and safeguarding documentation as they relate to SEND
- Liaising with parents, teachers, and external stakeholders professionally
What you'll need to succeed
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Previous experience in administration
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced educational environment
- Familiarity with the school system Bromcom (would be beneficial but not essential)
- A proactive, professional approach with strong communication skills
