Administrator/Customer Liaison Officer, Temporary, Larne

Your new company

A public sector organisation is recruiting for a temporary Administrator based in Larne to provide a wide-ranging, professional and confidential administrative support service to the team.

Your new role

  • Provide general secretarial and administrative support, including scheduling meetings, handling calls and emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Perform general administrative tasks such as word processing, maintaining spreadsheets and databases, creating presentations, photocopying, scanning, and managing filing systems.
  • Develop and maintain office systems for file and information management, both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Compile and produce management information and reports as needed.
  • Attend meetings to take notes, compile minutes, and follow up on action items.
  • Coordinate courses and seminars, including booking venues, arranging catering and equipment, and managing delegate registration.
  • Support the team in complying with financial systems.
  • Handle public and stakeholder queries and complaints in line with customer service policies.
  • Assist with the production and delivery of publications, promotional materials, online content, and awareness events, including stock control.
  • Support marketing and promotional campaigns, including updating and maintaining the website.
  • Manage public queries and bookings for community centres, including handling payments and using front desk management systems.

What you'll need to succeed

A minimum of two years’ administrative experience in a busy office environment, to include:

  • The ability to deal efficiently with large volumes of work; and
  • Successfully prioritising competing demands.
  • Use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

A full current driving licence valid in the UK and access to a vehicle OR have access to a form of transport that enables you to carry out the duties of the post
