Your new company is a leading insurance provider with a strong focus on digital trading and underwriting solutions. They are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative e-trade products to their broker network. Due to expansion within the company, a position for an Acturis E-Trade Trading Underwriter has arisen.

Your new role

As an Acturis E-Trade Trading Underwriter, you will manage and develop a portfolio of new business and broker relationships within the e-trade proposition. You will focus on service, trading, and product excellence while collaborating with IT and Technical Underwriting teams to enhance Acturis products and processes.

You will review and underwrite quotations across all products within the underwriting appetite and handle queries within agreed SLAs. You will act as a referral point for junior underwriters and maintain strong broker relationships through regular communication and excellent customer service. In addition, you will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance and promote Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a minimum of two years’ commercial underwriting experience in property or casualty insurance. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential, along with good organisational skills and the ability to work within company processes. You should be self-motivated and proactive in your approach. It is desirable that you hold Cert CII or ACII qualifications and have problem-solving ability and resilience under pressure.
