Job Title: Interim Acquisitions Surveyor
Location: West Midlands (Hybrid working available, with site visits as required)
Contract Type: 6-Month Contract
Rate: Up to £500 per day

Hays are working with a West Midlands-based local authority to find an experienced Interim Acquisitions Surveyor to support a strategic infrastructure programme. This role involves leading on complex property acquisitions to enable a high-profile initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end acquisition processes for operational property assets.
Negotiate with private and public sector stakeholders to secure strategic sites.
Provide valuation advice and prepare reports for internal governance.
Collaborate with legal, planning, and other relevant internal teams to ensure timely delivery.
Support wider estate strategy and contribute to programme milestones.

What you will need:

Relevant professional qualification.
Proven track record in property acquisitions, ideally involving operational assets.
Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working within or alongside public sector organisations.
