Your new role
Maintaining purchase and sales ledgers
Processing invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
Assisting with month-end and year-end accounts preparation
Preparing VAT returns and supporting compliance requirements
Managing payroll support duties where required
Monitoring cash flow and assisting with budgeting processes
Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders
Supporting continuous improvement within finance processes

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should have:
- Proven experience in an Accounts Technician or similar finance role
- IATI qualification (or equivalent) or be part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
