You will join an experienced and friendly accounts team, working with a varied portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Your responsibilities will include the preparation of year-end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies, alongside management accounts, VAT returns, and supporting clients with day-to-day queries. The role will offer regular client interaction and the opportunity to build long-term relationships, while also supporting junior members of staff and working closely with senior management. You will have previous experience working within a UK accountancy practice environment and will be comfortable managing accounts preparation for a varied client portfolio. Candidates who are ACCA or CA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience will all be considered. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, alongside experience using cloud-based accounting software such as CCH, or similar. The successful candidate will be proactive, personable, and keen to work as part of a close-knit and collaborative team.
