An established Accountancy firm in North Wales are seeking an Accounts Trainee to join their team. This firm specialises in the support of SME local businesses, mostly OMBs and is well-rooted in the community, providing their client base with a personalised service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounts candidate who is looking to pursue their professional qualifications in either ACA or ACCA as the firm is keen to develop their staff.

As an Accounts Trainee, you will be responsible for predominantly year-end accounts work, bookkeeping duties, VAT returns and other ad hoc duties. You will work as part of an experienced and professional team and will be required to use a variety of software. You will deal with a range of local clients in various industries and have a very mixed portfolio.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience of accounts preparation within a practice environment. Ideally, you will currently be AAT qualified or be studying towards an ACA/ACCA qualification or alternative qualification. This position will require you to be able to work as part of a team.

In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £23,000 and £25,000 dependent on experience. As well as a competitive firm-wide benefits package including holidays, pension contributions, study support and staff parking, this firm also offers hybrid working and free parking.
