This is a super opportunity; a brand-new role in a brand new Transactional Finance team! As Accounts Receivables assistant, your role will incorporate the invoicing process as well as credit control duties....your role will consist of the following areas;
Communicating with various sites (worldwide) to ensure the smooth running of the Accounts Receivables function.
Managing aged debt by processing bankruptcy, stopped payments and chargebacks
Confirming intercompany process
Liaising with customers to resolve account issues and discrepancies
Preparing journal entries and assisting in month-end close process
Apply all payments in USD and other overseas currencies
Perform collection activities in accordance with company credit guidelines
Supporting the wider finance team with audit, both internal and external.

You will need to be an experienced Accounts receivable specialist, with good exposure to the full "end to end" process, including collections. Some AAT training or qualification would be a bonus, as would experience of large manufacturer finance software....... such as Oracle/Netsuite, SAGE 500, SAP MS Dynamics or JD Edwards. You must also be a capable user of MS Excel.

This role is based in an "out of town" location, a stone's throw from the M4 motorway with free parking; it's a very easy commute for car owners but might also be an option for non-drivers who rely on public transport. It is 100% office based and, due to the nature of the business and the work environment, is not suitable for remote working, but the offices are well appointed and extremely comfortable. This is a key role; it offers a good level of responsibility in a fast paced and dynamic organisation who are leaders in their industry and field. You will be partnering with colleagues world wide, building good professional relationships, so your levels of communication and customer service will need to be excellent.
