Your new role

This is a hands-on role initially for 3 months. We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist, available for an immediate start with proven experience managing in a team.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Manage invoice, credit note and sales invoice processing
• Prepare and process regular supplier payment runs
• Support the production of management accounts, including journal postings
• Manage financial queries and ensure timely resolution of outstanding issues.
• Review and maintain supplier records and payment details
• Produce finance reports and support audit requirements
• Assist with continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
• Support and guide finance team members

• Proven experience in accounts payable
• Previous experience supervising or supporting finance staff
• Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reconciliations
• Experience working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong Excel and financial systems knowledge
• High levels of organisation, accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritise workloads and resolve issues proactively
