• Processing & coding supplier invoices accurately and promptly
• Reconciling supplier statements & resolving discrepancies
• Managing weekly and monthly payment runs
• Reviewing staff expenses & corporate card transactions
• Posting to multi‑currency bank accounts
• Maintaining the AP ledger with full accuracy
• Supporting month‑end close, including accruals & reporting
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve invoice/payment queries
• Ensuring VAT compliance & adherence to internal controls
• Supporting internal & external audits with required documentation
• Assisting with system improvements & finance process efficiencies
• Contributing to ad hoc finance projects
What you'll need to succeed
• 5–10 years’ experience in an Accounts Payable role• Strong attention to detail in high‑volume environments
• Solid understanding of double entry & an interest in accountancy
• Strong organisational skills & ability to manage deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel + experience with SAP/Sage or similar
• Excellent communication skills & stakeholder relationship building
• Knowledge of VAT & expense policies
• SAP Concur experience (desirable)
• AAT qualification (desirable, not essential)
