TEMPORARY ACCOUNTS PAYABLE JOB- 3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT

Your new company

Hays are currently recruiting for a successful manufacturing organisation, based on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, who are seeking a temporary Accounts Payable professional. As the company experiences increased demand, they require additional assistance to ensure smooth operation and maintain their high standards of service. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience within a dynamic team while contributing to a company during this critical time.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the timely and accurate processing of a backlog of invoices. You will also serve as a key point of contact for vendor queries, working closely with both internal teams and external vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies. Additionally, you will handle statement reconciliations to ensure all accounts are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong organisational skills, we encourage you to apply.

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have prior accounts payable experience and have strong attention to detail. You will have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate openly and build positive relationships both internally and externally. You will have experience working with Excel, including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables. You must also be immediately available to start the role and able to hit the ground running.
