This successful manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk /Finance Clerk / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the finance team. Your new role

Working closely with the Accounts Payable & Payroll Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and effective accounts payable function, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process financial documents accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and relevant legislation
  • Maintain high levels of accuracy, completeness, and data integrity across the financial system
  • Provide a responsive and professional service to both internal teams and external contacts
  • Support internal and external audit processes
  • Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required within the finance function

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger / Finance Clerk roles
  • Strong working knowledge of finance systems and processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills (e.g. lookups, pivot tables, data handling)
  • Good understanding of financial controls, compliance, and associated risks
  • Personal Attributes
    • A proactive, self-motivated team player with a positive attitude
    • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
    • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and
  • the ability to build relationships across the business
