Your new role
As Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of a high-profile portfolio of music and entertainment clients, delivering bespoke accounting, tax, and advisory services. You’ll manage a small team, oversee client relationships, and work closely with partners on strategic planning, royalty analysis, and international structuring. This is a client-facing role with scope to influence and innovate.
As Accounting Manager, you’ll take ownership of a high-profile portfolio of music and entertainment clients, delivering bespoke accounting, tax, and advisory services. You’ll manage a small team, oversee client relationships, and work closely with partners on strategic planning, royalty analysis, and international structuring. This is a client-facing role with scope to influence and innovate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing year-end accounts, management reporting, and tax compliance for music and entertainment clients
- Advising on touring structures, royalty income, and international tax matters
- Leading and mentoring junior staff
- Liaising with agents, lawyers, and international advisors
- Supporting business development and onboarding new clients
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll be ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) with post-qualified experience in practice. A background in music, media, or entertainment accounting is highly desirable. You’ll be confident managing client relationships, technically strong, and commercially astute. Experience with Xero, Sage, or specialist royalty software is a plus.
