Accounts Assistant opportunity with a global consultancy business

Your new role

Accounts Payable
  • Process a low volume of complex supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding, approvals, and project allocation
  • Manage supplier queries and maintain strong relationships with external partners
  • Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure timely settlement of invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Support the review and improvement of AP processes
Accounts Receivable
  • Raise client invoices across multiple projects and markets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
  • Monitor outstanding debt and follow up with clients to ensure timely payment
  • Maintain the AR ledger and support cashflow forecasting
  • Reconcile client accounts and investigate variances
  • Assist with revenue recognition checks and project‑related financial queries
General Finance Support
  • Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in an Accounts Assistant, AP, AR, or finance support role
  • Comfortable handling complex, multi‑step transactions even with low volume
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A confident communicator able to liaise with internal teams and external clients.
  • Good Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
