Accounts Assistant opportunity for high potential finance graduates or 1 year experience

Your new role

As an Accounts Assistant, you'll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance function. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Bank Reconciliation – Ensuring all receipts and payments are accurately recorded and reconciled
  • Payment Processing – Managing biweekly provider payment runs with precision
  • Sales Invoicing – Generating and distributing client invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing
  • Credit Control – Monitoring aged debt and implementing effective credit control measures
  • Balance Sheet Support – Assisting with reconciliations to maintain financial integrity
  • System Efficiency – Processing records using Access Dimensions, ensuring data accuracy and consistency

What you'll need to succeed

  • 1 year of experience in accounts would be advantageous.

  • A finance graduate with high potential and looking to study, must have good knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Studying AAT / AAT qualified

  • This role demands attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a collaborative mindset to support smooth financial operations across the business.

  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Excel)
