Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper – Tredegar - Temp-to-perm
Hays are supporting an exciting, fast‑growing organisation in Tredegar, and they’re looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their finance team immediately.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow with a business that’s entering a new phase of investment, development and innovation.
The Role
- Accounts Assistant – Temp to Perm
- Hybrid (1 day per week from home)
- Competitive salary up to £28,500
- Immediate start available
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing invoices in SAGE
- Inputting supplier invoices onto SAGE
- Sending out monthly statements
- Reconciling the bank on a monthly basis
- VAT returns
- Supplier statements
- Receipting customer invoices
- Managing financial reporting for external use
- Chasing Debtors where required
- Preparing financial forecasting reports
- Data entry onto SAGE
- Carry out any other duties as directed by line manager
Ideal Candidate
- Previous purchase ledger, sales ledger or accounts admin experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with manual invoice processing
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, collaborative office environment
