Location: Office-based, St Helens
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
Holidays: 20 days + bank holidays

We’re seeking a proactive Accounts Assistant to join a friendly manufacturing business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong transactional experience and a keen eye for detail to contribute to a busy and varied finance function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the rebate process (in excess of £5 million annually)
- Post bank transactions accurately and efficiently
- Perform high-volume balance sheet reconciliations
- Provide cover and support across Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
- Document and improve finance processes
- Analyse freight costs and provide insights
- Support ad hoc finance tasks as required
- Work with RBS Invoice Finance
Systems Used:
- Navision
- Biztrack
- Excel
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a similar finance role
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with finance systems
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
