Temporary Part-time Royalties Auditor Opportunity
Your new company
A global brand licensing and intellectual property organisation, operating internationally across consumer products and brand extension. The business works with well‑known brands to generate revenue by licensing their intellectual property into new products and categories, without the brands needing to manufacture anything themselves.
Your new role
You will be joining the Royalties Audit function as a part‑time Audit Assistant, supporting auditors during a particularly busy period. This role is primarily office‑based and analytical, designed to support audit teams working in the field rather than conducting audits independently.
Key responsibilities include supporting royalty audits through data preparation, reviewing sales information against licensing agreements, producing clear documentation and summaries, and assisting with audit support work across multiple licensed product lines.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who is looking to gain experience in royalty auditing, licensing, and intellectual property.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Experience or academic exposure in accounting, finance, audit, or a similar discipline
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data manipulation
Confident Word skills, particularly for drafting structured agreement summaries
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow defined audit procedures
Comfort working with large datasets and administrative audit support tasks
Availability to work part‑time (minimum 20 hours per week across at least four days)
What you'll get in return
A competitive hourly rate of £20-£24/hour
Flexible, part‑time working with hybrid options
Exposure to royalty audits, licensing arrangements, and intellectual property
A fast interview process and ASAP start, with potential opportunities beyond the initial contract
