An established Logistics business in Coleshill is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join its small, friendly finance team. Working alongside two colleagues, you’ll play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the accounts function, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role within a close‑knit team and wants to continue developing their finance experience.
Your new role
- Process supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and manage weekly payment runs
- Handle supplier queries and statement reconciliations
- Support the Finance Manager with elements of management accounts
- Provide occasional assistance with payroll tasks
- Maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or Accounts Payable role
- Exposure to management accounts or payroll is beneficial, though not essential
- Confident using Sage and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
- A team player who enjoys working collaboratively in a small office environment
