Accounts Assistant – Full-Time | Office-Based | Poole
Are you looking to build your finance career in a supportive, hands-on environment? Our client, a well-established and growing consultancy based in Poole, is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Accounts Assistant to join their finance team.
This is a permanent, full-time, office-based role offering a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills across purchase ledger, credit control, and project costing.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Posting supplier invoices and managing purchase orders
- Reconciling bank accounts and allocating customer payments
- Supporting credit control and VAT record-keeping
- Assisting with payroll, expenses, and supplier payments
- Using Xero to maintain accurate financial records
What We’re Looking For
- Some experience in a finance or accounts role
- Strong Excel skills (Xero experience is a bonus)
- A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
- Organised, reliable, and eager to learn
