They’re looking to appoint an Audit/Accounts Senior to join their collaborative team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mixed role, with a stronger emphasis on accounts preparation and review than audit, and wants to feel truly valued in their day-to-day work.

Your new role

• Leading audits from planning through to completion for a diverse portfolio of clients (30% of your role).
• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP.
• Supervising junior staff and reviewing their work.
• Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact.
• Supporting partners with ad hoc advisory and compliance work.

What you'll need to succeed

Ideally:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or finalist.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice.
• Strong audit and accounts background with good technical knowledge.
• Confident communicator with a proactive approach.
• Experience with IRIS, Xero, or similar software is a plus.
